Mars is 7 months, 2 weeks, and 5 days old.
Mars' newest thing is waving his toys around in the air. It's so cute because his arms are so short and chubby. He's also getting a lot better at army crawling! He likes to prop himself up on his hands and knees more and more, and I feel like one of these days, he's going to start crawling around.
This week, we took advantage of the "hot" weather (it's never really hot where we live) and went on two picnics. Going out to eat at a restaurant with friends is not always an option so I've been suggesting picnics when friends want to get together and hang out. It works out perfectly for Mars, because he gets to roam around and occasionally chew on a carrot while mommy and friends chat and catch up. Win-win for all!
